Considering the issue has been fixed upstream, the fixed version has
been included in Ubuntu and we haven't heard about any new crashes in
quite some time, I'm going to take the liberty of marking this as Fix

As mentioned in the comment above, Ubuntu 11.10 has reached End of Life some
time ago, but the status is still Triaged for Ubuntu in general. I guess we
would
oneiric has seen the end of its life and is no longer receiving any
updates. Marking the oneiric task for this ticket as Won't Fix.

I certainly hope oneric will not be released without a fix, since it
will draw an unreliable and buggy picture on Ubuntu.
To add some details just in case:
amd64, nvidia, gnome-session-fallback - error occurs after each login within a
couple of seconds.

Updated and installed nvidia drivers..

This bug is not closed. A fix has been committed upstream, but it is not yet
available as an update to Oneiric. Once the status in Oneiric changes from
Triaged to Fix Released, then you should expect to receive an update fixing the
problem.

OK so I think I know the source of the problem.
Basically when Zeitgeist is running and an app subscribes to be notified of
events of specific type, if the app crashes or exits before that Zeitgeist
can not unsubscribe it for a clean shutdown.
I will look into it now...
