** Changed in: ubuntu Milestone: ubuntu-11.10 => ubuntu-12.04 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Activity Log Manager, which is the registrant for Activity Log Manager. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/837896 Title: FFe+UIF+MIR: Zeitgeist Activity Log Manager (sync 'activity-log- manager' from Debian) Status in Activity Log Manager for Zeitgeist: Fix Released Status in Ubuntu: Fix Released Bug description: The Zeitgeist Activity Log Manager (package 'activity-log-manager') allows the user to set privacy settings for actions that are logged and recorded by Zeitgeist. This exists for similar reason to the "Private Browsing" experience offered by web browsers; namely ensuring Internet Banking secrecy and allowing one to plan secret birthday and wedding anniversary parties without other people finding out. Debian ITP: http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=626831 Ideally this could be synced into Debian and promoted for Main Inclusion allowing the highly-integrated Unity Dash/Zeitgeist experience to be used in Ubuntu 11.10 while also being users a feeling of control over how their data is used.
