Wa Alaikumassalaam, You can customize your theme for using Zekr in a dark look and feel. For now, you can change background color some color name taken from here<http://www.w3schools.com/CSS/css_colorsfull.asp>. Just go to Tools > Options > View and change quran_bgColor to another value. You can also remove background image by setting quran_hasBG to false.
