Salam brother Kharbat,
Al-hamdu liAllah, the text used by Zekr comes from www.tanzil.net which is
closer to the hardcopy Mushaf Al-Medina than ALL commercial software
copy available today.
I was amazed to find that even the softcopy provided by the producers of the
hardcopy [King Fahad Quran Complex] is not as close to the real hardcopy as
tanzil's text is. I use WinMerge (www.winmerge.org) to compare text and when
there is a mismatch, the hard copy is the final judge and subhaan Allah, tanzil
ALWAYS correct. The only known errors in tanzil are documented at
http://tanzil.net/wiki/Version_1.1_Updates
Zekr takes tanzil's text and enhance it a bit further with horizontal stems for
small superscripted elfs.
My QuranCode [http://qurancode.codeplex.com] software (open source of
course) processed tanzil's text to implement the proposed updates in 1.1 at
startup.
Finally brother, please take this advice to heart as I say it sincerely and out
of real first hand experience. All those companies who kept their Quran
software closed during the 80s and 90s and even into the 00s, have delayed all
Quran research efforts (unintentionally of course but THE DID) so don’t be one
of them.
Salam
Ali Adams

Subject: [zekr] Just want to make sure if this is a certified resource
Salamu alaykom
First of all i'd like to congratulate you for the extraordinary
effort. May allah bless you all..
I'm developing a Qura'an application for a client and im planning to
use your service as a primary source. I just need to make sure that it
is certified. Is there any official certificate, or approval by an
official party on the validity of the content (Qura'an) you provide..
I would be grateful if you can send me a copy of any documents you
have.. khar...@gmail.com
And it would be great if you provide me with your phone number so i
can contact you regarding this matter.
May allah bless you all
Thanks
