Hi, While in San Francisco last weekend, I visited Legend of Honor Museum and saw about 30-40 Monet's master pieces from 1876-1925. I came away with the following absorption. He painted with his eyes at the beginning -- as is with detail. Then he painted with his mind -- each one had a
