In Thailand 'fried rice' is 'khao pat', and usually specifies another
ingredient like 'chicken fried rice' (khao pat gai) or 'shrimp fried rice'
(khao pat gung). Just 'plain fried rice' would be 'khao pat kai' (egg only).
