Chan is One, or XXXX. The One which is the universe, which includes
everything we see and not see, know and not know.

There is this perpetual life force which manifests everything in the
universe. Some has a form and some are formless. Yet all such
manifestations are relative, transient and impermanent.

Our job, as a Chan practitioners, is to be in sync with the underlying
universal life force, and accepts all its form and formless without
procrastination or pick and choose. In other words, be with the energy
and not its manifestations.

Each encounter at every moment in our life is our homework, because each
occurs for some causes. Our job is to help or resolve or harmonize
with it to the best of our effort, within our available resources. Then
it is stopped from occurring again at a later time in other forms.

Gradually our heart will be completely at peace along with everyone
around us.

Well?
