Lawyers protest against PSI TNN, Sep 3, 2010, 11.06pm IST HASSAN: For the second consecutive day, district lawyers boycotted court work demanding Holenarsipur police sub-inspector Chikanna be arrested and suspended immediately. The decision to boycott court work was taken after a meeting in the Advocates Association office here on Friday. The lawyers said PSI Chikanna insulted Ashok, a dalit lawyer, when he went to register a complaint in Holenarsipur police station. "Officials have not arrested or suspended Chikanna yet. From Saturday, we will fight the issue in court till Ashok gets justice,'' they said.
