KCR for paper on SC/ST funds use Hyderabad, Oct. 16: Threatening direct action after the Dasara festival, Telangana Rashtra Samiti chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday demanded that the State government release a white paper on the budget allocation for Schedule Castes and Tribes. Mr Rao told mediapersons that more than Rs 10,000 crores from welfare schemes for SCs and Rs 5,000 crores allocated for tribal welfare had been diverted by successive governments in the last 15 years. "There is no going back. We will take the cooperation of all political parties to fight for the funds and rights of SCs and STs," Mr Rao said. Mr Rao said that the special component of Plan funds for SCs and STs were not allotted by both Telugu Desam and Congress governments. He demanded the setting up a nodal agency to examine funds
