My apologies for resurrecting this thread, but I am curious whether you have 
had any success enabling ECC on your M2N-SLI machine, using either the BIOS or 
the setpci scripts. I am experiencing a similar issue with my M2N32-SLI 
machine. The BIOS reports that ECC is turned on, but smbios reports that it is 
turned off:
