Have you examined the core dump file with mdb ::stack
to see if this give a clue to what happend?

Hello everybody,
last week we experienced a severe outage due to a crashed zpool. I'm now
in the process of investigating the reason for the crash, to prevernt it

I have a clean installation of Solaris Express Community Edition Build 119.
I created a zpool consisting of a mirror of two iSCSI disks. The new pool is
empty - no files or filesystems yet.
After some time I might have lost the connection to the iSCSI devices resulting
in a crashed pool.
