I've upgrade my OpenSolaris 2008.11 to 2009.06. During that process it created
a new boot environment:
BEActive Mountpoint Space Policy Created

Ok, I've found the solution to my problem on Internet here:
http://sigtar.com/2009/03/17/troubleshooting-time-slider-zfs-snapshots/
This was indeed caused by the old boot environment. This is how to solve it:
- disable snapshots on the old boot environment:
pfexec zfs set
Hi,
I have upgraded from to 2008.11 to 2009.06. The upgrade process created a new
boot environment (named opensolaris-1 in my case), but I am now getting out of
space in my ZFS pool. So, can I safely erase the old boot environment, and if
so will that get me back the disk space I need ?
BE
Ok -- thanks for your reply.
I just wonder what's in those 7 G, if a 3G pool is enough... ? Why has it grown
so much ?
I think I do not understand exactly the relationship between BE and the ZFS
pools: if I destroy the BE, that doesn't destroy the data, does it ? it puts
back the content of
Hi,
I'm pretty sure this is a beginner's question. The output of my zfs list is
shown below. I don't understand how two ZFS file systems (opensolaris and
opensolaris-1) can be mounted on the same mountpoint. [Hint: they correspond to
different BEs].
And as I probably should erase one of them
Hi,
I've already sent a few posts around this issue, but haven't quite got the
answer - so I'll try to clarify my question :)
Since I have upgraded from 2008.11 to 2009.06 a new BE has been created. On
ZFS, that corresponds to two file systems, both (strangely) mounted on /. The
old BE
Thanks - that answers my question ! :))

Incidentally, I just wanted to let you know that solved my problem :)
I can now parse my samba mounts which were complaining about value too large.
Changed to the standard ls.
Yet, this does not completely solve my problem, because file parsers do not
manage to list files of my mount, even if I
Hi all,
I would like to add a new partition to my ZFS pool but it looks like it's more
stricky than expected.
The layout of my disk is the following:
- first partition for Windows. I want to keep it. (no formatting !)
- second partition for OpenSolaris. This is where I have all the Solaris slices
Up :)
I still haven't found the way to do that. Is it impossible because this
partition is outside my Solaris slices? Isn't there a way to use the space
however ?
Regards
Axelle.
