I have the following immediate need:
POSITION: Data Base Administrator
LOCATION: Raleigh, NC
DESCRIPTION:
Reverse Engineer Legacy Systems/Databases! Our client is currently designing its future business operating processes and needs to plan for the migration and conversion of data from a large number of undocumented legacy systems to new target systems. In turn, this consultant will assist the data organization by reverse engineering existing databases in order to document the logical model and data flows for multiple applications. You will then plan the migration and conversion approach based on current and future environment. This effort will require reverse engineering of a large number of legacy systems that touch or depend on any/all of the following: Oracle DB, Oracle Apps, Oracle Customer Data Hub, BPEL, OAI, JBoss, SalesForce.com, Poetic, Saba, etc. This is an initial 6-month consulting engagement with the possibility for conversion to full-time employment, if desired by both parties. The successful candidate for this role will have exceptional Oracle DBA skills, logical data modeling skills, experience in reverse engineering/data conversion/data migration/data cleansing from legacy systems. Oracle Customer Data Hub experience is also a must. This is a reputable technology client with a convenient location!
