Web analytics architect/Developer
Location: Pleasanton, CA
Duration: 12 + months

This Architect/Developer will take a leadership role in Agile/Scrum development team creating the next generation of healthcare applications on the web. In this environment you will be responsible for developing, documenting and communicating the architecture to your fellow architects, the development team and across the organization.
As an architect you are expected to have strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills. You are expected to collaborate with the business and IT partners on the development of an overall strategy for your area.
As a Reporting Architect, you are expected to drive the vision, architecture and design for reporting and web analytics for the next generation of HealthCare applications Kaiser will be developing.
These applications will be based on IBM Websphere portal.
At least 7 years of J2EE development, 2-3 years developing web analytics solutions in portal, specific experience with the following required:
Technologies
" Unix - Linux or Solaris
" Portlets - portal lifecycle, inter-portlet communication
" Java Server Pages
" Portal (ideally IBM Websphere Portal Server 6.x)
" IBM WAS
" _javascript_
" HTML and Dynamic HTML
" AJAX - (ideally DOJO or DWR)
" Edge Caching Technologies - and their impact on Web Analytics
" Data Ware Housing Tools and Technologies
" Reporting Tools and Technologies - ideally Cognos
" Consuming Web Services
Tooling
" Tagging Tools - e.g. Omniture, WebTrends, etc.
" CVS, Subversion
Other
" Data Base modeling and design
" UML Modeling - the process and
