I have an opportunity available for a 9+ month contract with a client in * Minneapolis**, MN*. Only locals Locals or nearby MN They are looking for 5-7 years of development w/C#, Someone who has worked in an Agile Methodology environment, and has worked w/*Smartphone*applications. The Developer will work as part of the Field Services Development team to develop software solutions for the application portfolio in the C# .NET Language. The specific projects slated for this requisition involve a suite of Smartphone-based productivity applications for Medtronic's US Field Sales Organization. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Work closely with the field sales organization to enhance a custom application through user interface, reporting or technical changes from design to launch. Enable the field sales organization to optimize the capabilities of these systems by enhancing business processes through technical modifications. Establish a close relationship with others in the IT workgroup to ensure that the business needs are understood and are being met / planned for appropriately. Work with business to translate user requirements into detailed system requirement specifications, lead technical aspects of projects, and identify gaps in processes. Ensure compliance to software development policies and procedures. Develop and maintain business applications. Debug and verify own software and software developed by others. Present proposed design solutions to users and management in a timely, comprehensive, and understandable manner. KNOWLEDGE / EDUCATION: Bachelor Degee in computer science, business or related field required. JOB EXPERIENCE: 3-4 years in Information Technology. Proven technical skills using any of the following development technologies - C# .NET, Oracle. Experience with complex query development using SQL. Participation in full project lifecycle implementations. SKILLS / COMPETENCIES: Must possess strong programming and analytical skills. Proficiency in structured query language. Database development experience with open database connectivity (ODBC, SQL). Experience with C# .NET. Working knowledge of application development tools. Able to work in an Agile-based Development methodology and adapt and respond quickly to changing situations. Strong decision making abilities and problem resolution skills. Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written with proven ability to effectively communicate to all management levels. No special physical requirements. C# .NET, SQL RDMS Oracle.
