Major Responsibilities · Responsible for business case development, project initiation, and requirements definition for customer projects · Responsible for ensuring compliance with overall enterprise architecture, policies and standards · Lead and manage project teams across the following categories of activity: proof of concept, enhancement, and new solution deployment. Actively Manage 2 -4 concurrent projects annually. Includes the following responsibilities: o Ensure quality of project management activity as defined by ISPMM. o Apply integrated risk management to projects. o Develop project plans specifying goals, strategy, staffing, scheduling, identification of risks, contingency plans, and allocation of available resources o Identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks o Assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to project personnel o Direct and coordinate activities of project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget o Establish standards and procedures for project reporting and documentation o Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules and plans as required o Prepare project status reports and keep management, customers, and Project Stakeholders informed of project status and related issues o Confer with project personnel to provide advice and resolve problems o Follow established processes to respond to requests for changes from original specifications o Monitor project results against specifications o Develop and maintain project documentation o Collaborate with Client Engagement and Solutions Consultant to ensure solutions are meeting business needs and are accepted by the customer. o Periodically review business case throughout project lifecycle to ensure that benefits are achievable. o Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle o Plan team resource needs; allocate, supervise, and review work o Develop project communication plan to effectively meet stakeholders' information needs with timely distribution. o Lead the effort in creative approaches to problem solving and quality deliverables supporting business needs · Ensure that project activity and deliverables comply with external and internal regulatory and procedural requirements, such as Quality Management System (QMS) and Systems Lifecycle Validation · Has knowledge of business processes, systems, and project and program management process, techniques, tools and procedures. · Work with Resource Managers to ensure the appropriate allocation of project resources from the resource pool · Work closely with vendor / suppliers on delivery of project objectives. · Manage the software development cycle · Adhere to quality standards and compliance requirements for validated systems · Provide coaching and practical advice to less experienced Solution Lifecycle Managers.
