Please let me know, If you have any suitable consultants available on the below urgent requirement Title : SCCM Engineer Location : Boston, MA Start Date : ASAP Duration : 2 months Rate : $55/HR on C2C Phone screen followed by In-person interview Need two professional references from recent projects Job Description: In response to an ongoing IT services consolidation effort, our client is seeking a knowledgeable SCCM engineer with proven experience to validate the health of the current SCCM environment, provide recommendations to allow current design to scale to accommodations of up to 20,000 clients, and establish requirement guidelines for future department migrations. Responsibilities The SCCM engineer will be required to assess current SCCM environment, complete a health check, identify potential weaknesses of existing environment and recommend solutions to mitigate, integrate proposed solution, establish and document standards, requirements, and best practices for all future migrations, develop processes, procedures, and automated workflows to support package creation, testing, and deployment and configuration management, provide status reports for SCCM environment health, create template reports, secure SCCM environment and establish security best practices, prepare design documents and presentations. Engineer will also be required to assess non domain sites, determine feasibility of SCCM management, and implement proposed solution. Required Skills Engineering-level knowledge, experience, design, implementation and managing large environments at the SMS 2003 and SCCM 2007 production level, Windows Server 2003, Active Directory, Group Policy, package deployment methodologies, VBScript, WMI, Windows installer, .MSI internals, Windows PE, Business desktop deployment components, Windows standardization concepts, and Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005. Experience in supporting other Active Directory services such as LDAP Directories, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, WINS, AD replication and synchronization, in addition to experience with LAN/WAN networking and troubleshooting. Strong communications skills, with the ability to interact with IT professionals to understand requirements and develop comprehensive and complete solutions that incorporate both technology and business processes. Ability to work on a team as well as independently with minimal supervision to achieve project milestones and deadlines. Proven experience in technical lead roles for SMS, SCCM, and Active Directory. Analytical minded self-initiative and self-driven personality. Ability to mentor and share knowledge is a critical requirement of this position.
