This position will focus on development and enhancement of web based applications designed to capture information from external companies and internal staff. Preferred Work Experience: The applicant should have strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience in web-enablement of client/server applications is required. The candidate must be familiar with Visual studio and standard Microsoft development environment. The position requires the candidate to have had a minimum of 3 years of direct .NET development and solid knowledge of .Net architecture, VB.Net, ASP.Net and ADO.net. Exposure to JavaScript would be quite helpful. The candidate needs to have worked with applications needing connectivity to Oracle in both native and ODBC environments. This position requires excellent team skills with ability to work with others in close communication. The desired candidate should also be able to pursue tasks with a minimum of supervision and deliver quality work on time. The preferred Developer will have relational data modeling skills and expertise with ORACLE RDBMS, SQL-Plus and PL/SQL. This person should have education/experience that includes the design, development and implementation of large-scale network based, multi-user applications; a thorough understanding of structured design methodology, prototyping, client server/object oriented technologies and programming techniques. Familiarity with JavaScript, Java, HTML, XML, SQL 2005, and Web based applications is also desirable. Experience developing Web Services, object-oriented development and development of CLASS objects would be a plus. Experience dealing with all levels of users is preferred. A degree in computer science is a plus. Preferred Skills/Tools a.. .Net development (especially VB.Net) b.. PL/SQL for stored procedures, triggers, etc. c.. Oracle database connectivity d.. Toad, Infragistics, and Active Reports. Client's Development Environment: a..
