*Duration: *Long Term *LOCATION: *Berkeley Heights, NJ *MUST HAVE INSURANCE EXPERIENCE* *Description:* Insurance experience is highly preferred. The *Kimball method* is also preferred. Individual will be combining the role of *Data Architect/Data Analyst/Data Modeler*. Some *ETL experience* is required*. Looking for someone Senior with a minimum of 6-7 years of experience.* We are looking for a *Data Analyst/Data Modeler* on the *AIG Regulatory Reporting Data Warehouse. * *Requirements: * • Ability to take a holistic view of the data and find out how it will tie back to the source systems. • Ability to clearly define data requirements to the ETL development, Functional, and Testing teams based on business requirements. • Ability to partner with a Business Analyst to understand the Business Requirements. • Ability to create logical data model definitions based on the Business Rules produced. • Ability to create logical data model definitions based on the Business Rules produced. • Ability to develop source to target business rule mappings for the ETL development team. • Ability to articulate thoughts clearly in writing and during presentations. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with the development team, management, business users, other IT systems owners and DA/DBA groups. • Ability to be self-motivating and perform in a dynamic environment. A strong Team player. *Responsibilities: * • Perform detail data analysis. • Design conceptual data model. • Assist the DBA in converting the logical model(s) to physical • Map ETL requirements to specifications traceability. • Validate Unit Test Cases and ensure data elements are being properly tested. • Create System and Integration Test Cases and Test Data • Identify data requirements from the business requirements. • Interact with the ETL development team and remove any knowledge gaps that might exist. • Assist with source data analysis and profiling. • Assist in the development of Source to Target Mappings.
