The candidate should have had exposure to the SiteMinder application in order to engineer the new central configuration of the web agents. The application consumes information from the SUN iPlanet Directory Server and the candidate will be expected to have a thorough understanding of *LDAP *in a global environment. Securent - a fine grained entitlement engine that also encompasses WebLogic, *LDAP *and Oracle technologies; we are beginning the deployment of v3.2 as part of a global infrastructure update, an understanding of PDP, PAP and PEP interactions is required as well as the underlying technologies in order to plan and build out the infrastructure. LDAP - the *Enterprise Service Directory* (ESD) is a globally available LDAP directory that underpins all SiteMinder protected web sites as well as numerous other internal applications such as Compass, ALPS, IT Answerbase etc. The candidate should have a good understanding of LDAP in a global environment including performing upgrades, the candidate will be asked to act as an SME in support of the GWS initiatives to deliver this service.
