*Bill-Rate: $40/hr inc. all on C2C* *Duration: 6 - 12 months * *Location: Jacksonville, FL* *MUST HAVE: Good SQL skills, Back end datawarehouse is on UDB2* *HUGE PLUS: Health Care industry, Enterprise Datawarehouse* * Detail design documentation, development and unit testing of internally developed applications created for blue cross blue shield business partners* *Description:* · Must have an advanced demonstrated proficiency programming in Ab initio language · Writes and/or is able to read and understand technical and functional requirements documents. · Creates application design specification documents from which code will be written. · Reads writes and analyzes specification documents. · Translates specifications into code (modify existing an/or creates new). · UDB & UNIX required · Creates documents and executes unit testing on internally developed software programs. · Evaluates results against specifications and Logs defects. · Reports results of unit testing to project team; Responds to issues raised during test review. · Verifies program integrity against system specifications and standards. Certifies program for release to the next level of testing environment in the system development life cycle where the Developer may or may not be involved · Must have a solid demonstrated proficiency using debugging tools (e.g., Expeditor, File Aid), and a solid demonstrated proficiency using SQL or similar type of query language. · Uses Company approved design tools and product development methodology to build applications. · Solid demonstrated proficiency using standard desktop applications such as MS Suite and flowcharting tools such as VISIO. · Ensures code complies with companies architectural standards. · For mainframe environment creates test environments at different levels and uses existing test files or creates new test files to evaluate code functionality.
