MQ Series. Interface design skills particularly with packaged applications. Experience deploying and running maps in a Unix environment. Preferred Skills: IBM Websphere TX (Mercator); advanced tree design skills; UNIX IBM AIX experience; shell scripting; launching processes. Deploying event systems in Event Servers on a Unix environment. DB2; Retail - Global Supply Chain; Manhattan Associates software products. Soft Skills Needed Strong analytical skills; Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to successfully multi-task and work in a team environment. Provide technical design and architecture advice on implementation of IBM DSTX and re-usable code. Project Description/Daily Assignment Detailed Description of Daily Assignment: Assist TMS project team in [client] development of EAI interfaces. Work closely with [client] Data Integration associates and contractor team members to ensure proper system design and re-use. Ensure high quality implementation from QA to production following Home Depot outlined procedures and documentation. Provide day to day assistance to project team members as it relates to project work. Provide status reports as required to the project lead or manager. Has developed complex code for a large scale cross-project from scratch to be used in a production environment. Has an excellent understanding of the full project development life cycle from requirements to maintenance. Ability to guide and direct project team members offshore in the design, and development of complex applications/programs. Ensures highest quality implementations from design thru QA to production. Must be able to identify and direct implementation of hardware and software needs. Must have the ability to view packages and products to determine their viability within the solution being considered, or identify a solution in other areas if it exists. Works to become proficient in both EAI and ETL technologies in the Data Integration space. Detailed system design specifications; Development of EAI Mercator DataStage TX Maps; Test scripts and Unit, String, Performance Test Results; Production Support Manual; Error Handling; Additions/Changes to Best Practices or Standards Manual. Detailed Description of needed deliverable: Development of EAI code.Full project lifecycle experience. Ability to create the technical software development specifications from the functional specification deliverables provided for complex interfaces.
