The VUE project at Tufts Academic Technology is focused on creating flexible, visual tools for integrating digital resources into teaching, *Qualifications Needed: * · Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field required (Masters preferred) · 3-5 years of experience required · Extensive experience in user interface design patterns using Java and excellent understanding of cross-platform UI development issues. · Must have clear understanding of the software development lifecycle and be effective working as part of a geographically distributed team. · Experience with ANT, CVS, XML and Java-based RDF APIs such as Jena is highly desirable. Familiarity with other web programming languages such as Flash/ActionScipt, ASP, Cold Fusion, etc. Knowledge of XML, XSL /T and SQL is a plus. Database administration and design skills are preferred. · Excellent analytical and communication skills are required.
