In addition to data conversion the Data Conversion Specialist should have experience in Data Modeling, SQL, COBOL, DB2, QMF/SPUFI, XML, and ORACLE Database Administration. These positions require significant experience and expertise with Welfare Eligibility System data. Skill and Experience Requirements The two Data Conversion Specialists must have significant experience with a Human Services Department’s Welfare Eligibility System including eligibility determination, benefit delivery and case maintenance. This Welfare Eligibility System experience should be with a web architecture system based upon a contemporary Java environment including an ORACLE database. Experience with enterprise-scale relational Databases and Data Warehouses (including relational and dimensional models) and the use of standard and Object Oriented data modeling tools, preferably ERwin and Rational. Experience with data modeling and documentation techniques such as ERDs, Data Dictionary, and Data Flow Diagrams in traditional and object oriented methodologies. Experience with modeling and managing metadata. Knowledge and understanding of approaches for business intelligence and data marts. Experience with modeling and transforming data using XML. Experience with ORACLE 10g and 11g. Experience in ORACLE database administration. Regards R.
