PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Functional and needs analysis for Health Plans, defining
systems requirements, and the development and documentation of system
specifications and process flow charts, and interfacing with other corporate
departments and client representatives. Familiarity with healthcare
operations is preferred. Specific tasks include:
1. Project lead for implementing medical
management software and related technologies and interfaces
2. Conducting research and functional needs
analyses for issues within the Healthcare Management Services areas.
3. Coordinating data analysis needs for
implementation and report specifications.
4. Conduct root cause and current state analysis
and make recommendations for process redesign and improvement as supported
by new technologies.
6. Developing workflow charts and tracking
multiple projects simultaneously.
7. Supporting and coordinating system related
needs.
8. Providing technical support and performing
tests on system modifications.
9. Compiling test plans and test results.
10. Providing support to staff during system
implementations and transition cycles.
Education and Experience:
Required:
· Demonstrated medical management experience in health care.
· Knowledge of Utilization Management targets
· Self-directed with strong organizational skills.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to foster inter and intradepartmental communication and team
building.
· Supervision and development of an HCMS team.
· Strong analytical capabilities.
· Attention to detail.
· Mastery of computer software.
· Statistical reporting experience preferred.
· Multi-task oriented with ability to follow-up on numerous complex
problems.
· Strong customer focus.
Preferred:
· Familiarity with Amisys, Facets
