Position: QA Tester Location: Columbus, OH Multiple Durations check below Rate: $35/hr Functional test positions available. All testers need to have these minimum qualifications. Specific job requirements are in the section at the bottom of this message. a.. Extensive software QA testing experience (at least 5 years, prefer more) b.. All positions are to write and execute manual test cases c.. Ability to logically and systematically analyze and solve software problems d.. Define scope and objectives for complex quality testing projects. e.. Ability to express technical concepts and procedures clearly, precisely, and in easy to understand information, verbally and in writing f.. Develop and implement detailed, tactical project plans, goals and objectives for complex projects (includes designing, creating, and maintaining functional and integration test cases). g.. Troubleshoots and resolves or recommends solutions to a diverse range of complex software testing problems. Uses judgment within defined policies and practices (includes software and technical documentation solutions). h.. Identify and record defects with sufficient information for issue to be reproduced by development team. Collaborate with development team to reproduce issues. i.. Lead test case review sessions. j.. Good interpersonal/customer relations skills k.. Ability to learn and then train others on new applications l.. RETAIL experience To qualify for one of the six positions, tester must also have experience in one of the following areas: Positions 1-4 (4-6 months) Position 5 (5 months) Position 6 (6-8 months) Position 1 - Tester must have experience testing a retail merchandising systems such as PKMS, Manhattan, Jesta with emphasis on the supply chain. Position 2 - Tester must have experience testing a Purchase Order management application (ERP environment) Position 3 - Tester must have experience testing interfaces between complex software applications in an ERP environment Position 4 - Tester must have experience testing an JDA allocation/planning system or something similar Position 5 - Tester must have experience testing Kronos application (required) Position 6 - Tester must have experience testing data warehouse and have strong SQL skills (at least 5 years db testing) Thanks & Regards, Sophia Jones Technical Recruiter Data Group, Inc.
