Position: WebSphere Application Developer Location: Lincoln, NE Duration :6+ Months Rate: $27/hr (Sorry about the rate) WebSphere Application Developer: Client has an excellent opportunity for a consultants that will participate in analysis sessions, prepare technical requirements documentation as specified by and to be approved by Applications Development Manager. The assignments will involve migration path from websphere 5.1 to Websphere 6.x version on AIX environment. This also involves using RAD tools or Eclipse tool for code development and also involves building ANT scripts for deployment on different AIX environments. Additionally, the consultants are required to conduct a knowledge transfer to State employees who will perform the production support activities. Please see Qualification for this position. Consultant Experience -- Required Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent. Considerable working experience on Core Java (Min. 5 years is recommended) includes JSP, Servlets, EJB, JDBC, JNDI, JMS and XML Minimum of 3 years of experience Involved in migration of application from Websphere 5.1 to Websphere 6.X and building J2EE application in Websphere 6.x At least 5 years of Experience in using Struts Framework At least 3 year of experience in using RAD 6.0 & Eclipse Tools At least 5 years of working experience in writing and tuning SQL Queries in DB2 (IBM) and other RDBMS Knowledge At least 3 years of experience in using ANT tools for building and deploying code in Websphere 6.x Must have excellent communication skills.
