MS preferred. • Experience in scripting in a major scripting language such as Perl, PHP, Ruby • *Experience with DHTML, JavaScript, AJAX, PHP5, FLASH and other web technologies desired (for building automated reports/dashboards).* • Strong understanding of databases, data warehouses, statistical methods and tools, internet architecture, and web services. *• **Database query experience, 5+ years hands-on experience with MySQL/ Postgre SQL in the following areas: **o Replication o Load balancing o Query optimization o Schema design o Disaster recovery * • Experience with statistical data analysis and statistical tools strongly preferred. • *Experience programming software in C++, Java, PHP, Ruby* • *Solid understanding of UNIX/Linux operating systems.* • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • High energy, strong team player. • Demonstrated experience in working with broad cross-functional teams • Ability to work cooperatively with software engineers and system administrators. • Exceptional problem-solving expertise and attention to detail. • Superb self-management skills. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Aptitude for documentation, innovation and process improvement.
