The Performance Tester is responsible for performance & automation testing implementation by performance testing tools, leading processes E2E from the planning, design, development into execution, work very close with the customer. The performance testing process is ongoing communication with other teams related to the task. The Performance Tester must have broad knowledge in performance testing methodology & tools, understand architecture and technology. Major Function – Performance testing implementation by performance testing tools, leading processes E2E from the planning, design, development into execution, work closely with the customer. * REQUIRED SKILLS:* *-Load Runner -Experience with Data Warehouse applications -Experience setting up development/testing environments for Data Warehouse applications -Working knowledge of ORACLE (experience using TOAD) -Experience working with TERADATA database -Experience working with INFORMATICA -MUST HAVE BEEN A PERFORMANCE TESTER/ENGINEER PREVIOUSLY *-In-depth knowledge of at least one Amdocs product (Ensemble, Mobile or Clarify) -2-3 years UNIX experience required -Experience with DB (Oracle, SQL Server); data modeling principles and associated tools (SQL, PL/SQL, TOAD); test automation and performance tools (WinRunner, LoadRunner, Precise); configuration control knowledge (Source Safe principles); S/W architecture for web based and non-web based applications (Client side, Tuxedo and Server side. -Knowledge of performance and automated tools -Demonstrated experience in the successful delivery of testing solutions for Telecom Billing, OMS and CRM solutions -Strong analytical skills as well as customer facing skills, ability to influence and motivate clients and employees, excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work independently -Ability to work on many assignments in parallel *Education:* College degree in one of the following backgrounds OR extensive relevant experience is required. B.A. in Computer Science Engineer B.A. in any exact Science ***Experience testing Data Warehouse Applications along with good LoadRunner Experience will be key for this position. Manager may be willing to see less experience with performance testing if candidates are strong in both Data Warehouse Apps & LoadRunner.
