located in Chicago, IL Contract Position for 6+ Months Rate:should be competative Rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications. *REQUIRED TO SUBMIT:* · *Experience with REXX (IBM SCRIPTING)*** · CICS · MAINFRAME QA experience · *Preffered to have worked at Blue Cross before* · CANDIDATE MUST POSSESS RECENT QA LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE AND MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN A MAINFRAME ENVIRONMENT (COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2) · Experience with Mercury Quality center is also required. · Will be responsible for leading QA / testing projects from end to end across different units within the line of business. Will also be responsible for creating formal test plans, test schedules and hold defect review meetings. · Translates user requirements and specifications into QA test plans. · Coordinates QA tests for mainframe and internet applications. · Performs post-implementation regression tests to ensure the integrity of the production environment. · Assists in the training of new QA associates. · Maintains various management statistical reports. · Performs Sarbanes-Oxley testing. · Participates in Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity testing *Qualifications Manual Tester:* · Extensive knowledge of online and batch mainframe processing. · Experience in QA environment utilizing Internet and Mainframe technologies. · Thorough knowledge of SDLC. · Working knowledge of CMM or ISO a plus. · Proxy system and/or brokerage processing experience preferred. · Experience with the development of test scripts and automated test procedures a plus. · Working knowledge of Mercury testing tools desired. · Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Access, etc) required. · Strong organizational and analytical skills required. · Excellent oral and written communication skills required. · BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience. · Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. *Qualifications: * · 3-5 years experience with Mercury Tool Set (Quick Test Professional and Quality Center) · 3 Years experience with *REXX* · Able to develop and implement strategies for test automation · Design, execute and maintain automated test scripts for functional and regression testing using Mercury Quick Test Pro (QTP) · Incorporate various types of checkpoints when developing scripts for data validation and synchronization using QTP -- Thanks & Regards, Ajay Recruiter Aclat Inc ajayavar...@aclatinc.net www.aclatinc.com Y IM : jas_vishwak It is not a solicitation attempt!!!To be non-recepient/s, Please revert to us, indicating "REMOVE" either in the subject line or in the Text.
