Position: Technical Writer with GSK and IQMS documentation required Location: King of Prussia, PA. Duration: 2-3 months probable EXTN Rate: 30-32/hr Max We have a new need for a Tech Writer for GSK located in King of Prussia, PA. This is an 8 week engagement initially. - Previous experience with GSK and IQMS documentation required (TEC-180-393: specific req for GSK exp) -Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills. - Must be able to work independently and with technical staff across multiple sites and time zones (US/UK) Situation According to iQMS guidelines, a set of iQMS documents should be produced before system testing can be completed for the IW client components. For each design element (Office, IE, Communicator, and Live Meeting), a design specification, a technical installation plan, a technical installation report, a test case document, a test report document, and a Technical Installation Plan must be produced. For the entirety of the client components a system requirements document and a test plan must be produced. Proposal A Tech Writer would streamline the creation of the project documents (System Requirements and the Test Plan), and would help with the creation of the component test cases. This would equate to the coordination and delivery of at least 10 documents and editor contribution to 12 more. The project will be best position to make use of a tech writer from mid May thought mid July (a period of approximately 8 weeks). Engineering resources will need to work closely with the tech writer on the creation of the necessary documents for their areas. The Tech writer must have experience with the GSK IQMS system, able to work independently and with others via various means of collaboration (Phone, email, Teleconference, Sametime).
