Data Architect Experience in participating in analysis sessions with the user community to capture business and data requirements clearly, completely and correctly Experience in identifying, analyzing and translating business requirements into conceptual, logical and physical data models in complex, multi-application environments 5+ years experience implementing operational and dimensional logical and physical design for Data Marts and Data Warehouse Understanding of Business Intelligence solutions, strong knowledge of relational and multi-dimensional database architectures, database lifecycle design and application development. Deep familiarity with Oracle database technologies (9i & 10g) Experience in identifying and documenting data integration issues, challenges such as duplicate data, non-conformed data, and unclean data Experience in Data analysis/profiling using SQL and / or PL/SQL and reverse engineering of data Ability to develop 3NF and Dimensional data architecture, integrate, manage and promote physical data models and data model standards that source data from multiple origins (internal data sources, external data sources, third party data, etc.). Experience in creating, reviewing and presenting Source Systems Analysis and Source- to-Target mapping across Staging, Integration and Presentation layers. Detailed mapping document should include table / columns logical and physical names, data types, Meta data and ETL transformation rules. Ability to read Oracle PL/SQL code and translate it into the ETL specifications if necessary Specific Qualifications Required (specialized skills, degrees, certification, etc.) ยท Excellent data analysis skills Working knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and TOAD. Ability to define, develop, and implement unit, integration and system test cases. Ability to execute defined test cases to ensure data quality. Experience in delivering quality work on time with multiple, competing priorities Experienced in working well with others on the team to meet project milestones, manage client satisfaction and mentor others on the team Data Architect role is an overarching role that may include business analysis, data analysis and data modeling in the design phase of the project and /or writing and execute test cases during the project implementation phase.
