Position : Senior Java Tech Lead(Programmer Analyst III)
*Previous Gov Project Exp BIG+*
Location : NYC (Local to NJ,NY,MD or PA)

*MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE **Note: candidates who do not have the
mandatory skills will not be considered.*
- The selected candidate should possess a minimum of 8 years of Java
development experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Practical knowledge of commercial portals (preferably Vignette) and
hands-on experience of portal application development
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented methodology and UML language
- Experience in design, development, and implementation of large-scale
enterprise internet/intranet J2EE systems and JSR 168 portlets.
- Working experience with JAVA Frameworks (Hibernate, Spring, Struts,
etc.)
- Knowledge of SQL and database design;
- Ability to plan technical architecture and develop use case documents;
- Experience working with the following technologies:
- Commercial Application Portal (preferably Vignette)
- Oracle
- BEA WebLogic
- UNIX
- JSP/Servlets
- Hibernate
- Spring
- XML/XSL
*DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE*
Experience working on government technology projects with the City of New
York is preferable.
- Tech Lead experienced in Service Oriented Architectures and concepts
preferred.
- Experience with reports development within the Jasper framework is a
plus.
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent
experience is desired.
*SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS** *
References should be provided from at least two former or current clients
where the contractor has performed the same or similar work. Provide the
name, address, phone number and e-mail address of the reference as well as a
brief description of the work performed.
Candidates should expect to be tested (e.g. given a programming task as part
of the interview).
