Database Administrator II is responsible for monitoring space usage, monitoring Database monitoring setup/Audit Sox, Maintenance and Scripting, Data Refreshes, Oracle Trouble Shooting, Performance Tuning, Database Administration, Database Change Management *Senior Oracle Production DBA*** POSITION Senior DBA leads the design, configuration and implementation of the DBMS. The candidate performs capacity evaluations and plans maintenance cycles. The candidate also works with business owners to identify business needs and communicates them back to his/her team.' REQUIREMENTS - Performance Tuning - UNIX Shell Scripting - Documentation - Schema Management - 10g Database Monitoring - Data Warehouse Administration - Worked in VLDB environments - Good communication skills - Problem Solving - Ability to communicate core DBA concepts and apply knowledge - 5+ years Production DBA experience - Advanced SQL and SQL*Plus skills - Partitioning We are *not* looking for a System DBA.
