System Analyst (Citrix, VMWARE, CCA/CCEA MCSE Active Directory, LAN/WAN)

Long Term Contract

Act as authority on Microsoft Windows 2003 Server, Office 2003, Dell
products/technologies, Citrix Presentation Server 4/4.5, Citrix Web
Interface 4 and SQL 2005
Support/Implement/Solve issues in a enterprise environment.
When appropriate Install, Configure, update and maintain MS Windows/Citrix
servers in a large environment.
Function as a SME (Subject Matter Expert) for Windows Operating Systems and
Citrix performing tier III support that includes problem management,
isolations, and resolution.
Must be flexible in hours, a lot of the work will be performed over weekend
nights and early mornings.
Coordinate with end-user and site for server swap out, and checkout after
migration.



 • Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, PowerShell, batch scripting and
good customer service
• Ability to coordinate techinical activities with end users and business
partners, good communication skills (written and verbal)
• Organizied method of working complex problems, must be comfortable in a
multitasked environment, and take ownership of issues through conclusion.
• Must be flexible in hours, a lot of the work will be performed over
weekend nights and early mornings. Strong Teaming skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Virtual PC and OS/2
• Microsoft Server 2003, Citrix 4.0, Citrix Web Interface
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN problems, implement corrective actions and recommend
operational improvements
Experience with Enterprise Class Storage Devices (EMC, SAN, NAS)
• Experience with Virtualization using VMWARE
• Understanding of ITIL Foundations including Incident, Problem, and Change
Management.
• Ensure systems and applications are compliant with applicable standards
specified in task orders
Experience with processing EOL (End of Lease) servers and refreshing servers



 *Qualifying Questions:
1) How can you force the client to give up the dhcp lease if you have access
to the client PC?
2) What’s the difference between forward lookup and reverse lookup in DNS?
3) What’s the major difference between FAT and NTFS on a local machine?
4) What’s the difference between local, global and universal groups?

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
5 yrs related experience Skilled in large enterprise environments
3 years of experience with Citrix and Microsoft products, network
administration and troubleshooting.
CCA/CCEA MCSE Active Directory knowledge/experience
Windows 2000/2003 SQL 2005 (Citrix use)
Experience with installations, migrations and firmware updates.
5-7 years of server implementation experience in a SOX bound production
environment
3-4 years of technical support where system standards are in place and
adhered to
2 years of working in ticketing system; Opening, assigning, resolving and
updating tickets
Strong communication skills
