Title: Data Engineer Integration Location: NY Duration: 6months Skills: * *Responsibilities:* - Work with the project management team, technical team, and business unit during requirements analysis to determine data messaging requirements. - Data transformation design and development. - J2EE-based business logic design and development, using best practices. ** - MQ installation and configuration. - Create tables, population scripts, and insertion triggers. - Services creation. - Style sheet creation - SSL configurations - Create reports - IC3 installation for data consumption - Assist in testing efforts, Perform unit testing and fixes during testing process. - Assist the support team during deployment. - Other tasks related to the development effort. *Deliverables:* - All documentation regarding system design - Business Process Data-flow Mapping Diagrams - Tables, population scripts, and insertion triggers. - Services creation. - Style sheet creation - SSL configurations - Modules for the system written in Java - Use cases and misuse cases for handoff to QA team *MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE **Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered.* - A minimum of 4 years experience in Java developing for large-scale enterprise systems. - Strong knowledge of SOA and its concepts (EAI, Web Services, Data Federation) - Strong team player, ability to work on independent assignments - Strong experience designing java messaging based systems - Experience in Oracle writing stored procedures, triggers - Strong java web service development experience. - Strong knowledge of BEA Web logic; UNIX (Solaris and/or Linux); XML/XSL; - Ability to produce technical documentation; - Excellent oral and written communication skills are required; *DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE* - A Masters degree in Computer Science, or Mathematics is desired; - Experience working on government technology projects with the City of New York is preferable. - IBM Websphere MQ experience - Hardware security modules and database encryption experience strongly desired - iWay or other adapter platform experience * * *SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS** * References should be provided from at least two former or current clients where the contractor has performed the same or similar work.
