This is my direct client opening for *Developer Analyst** - Austin, TX*.
This is a long term contract position. The Hourly rate is DOE.
*Essential Job Functions:*
A. Performs systems analysis to evaluate the current
application and system while considering additional customer requirements,
systems requirements, software releases, equipment configurations, and
relationships/dependencies between systems.
B. Participate in customer definition and design
meetings to gather requirements and functional specifications
C. Participate in the development of web
applications and assists IT staff with construction of code based on
requirement definitions
D. Adhere to Agency standards for web based
applications
E. Designs and implements new or revised methods that
effectively meet agency needs
F. Documents agency IT processes to support IT
software development
G. Participates in the preparation of diagrams,
charts, and tables that depict the present and proposed systems in terms of
costs, benefits derived, and tasks accomplished
H. Assist project/functional manager with technical
skills in order to assist with project development/implementation as needed.

Minimum Requirements:*
Skills/Experience
5 Years: Development experience in Web based applications.
2 Years: Development experience with Web Sphere.
2 Years: Coding languages and environments including but not limited to
Java, J2EE, EJB, JSP, XML, HTML.
2 Years: Development experience with Oracle database.
Strong: Able to work with others in a team-based environment.
Strong: High motivation level and superior attention to detail.
Strong: Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Strong: Strong communication and team work skills, team
coordination, mentoring and training skills.
Strong: Ability to finish projects on time with minimal
supervision.
