F2F after initial phone screen Title: Web System Designer/Programmer / Programmer Analyst III Location : NYC, NY Duration : 4+ Months Total Years of Experience: 8+ Years. Total Years of .NET Experience : 5+ Years MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: (Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered) · Must be a .net Microsoft Solution Certified Developer. · Must have a minimum of 5 years designing and coding large-scale web applications with the bulk of that experience centered on Microsoft .net as the development and production environment. DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE · Excellent communication skills both with the business users and IT colleagues. · Prior experience using a broker such as Software A.G.'s Entire-X to communicate with mainframe or externally located databases. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS · Must have the ability to become productive very quickly due to the short duration of the assignment. · Prior successful experience in the City of New York Web/Mainframe environment is a very large plus. SCOPE OF SERVICES: Provide technical system design and coding skills to enable DCAS OMIS to deliver additional OASys/OLEE online exam functionality before the LongBeach state mandate forces DCAS Examinations to give more frequent exams in shorter time-frames. This functionality will allow the DCAS Examinations business unit to use automation to create, maintain, monitor, rescore, and model existing and newly created exams. These five OLEE functions are currently being done manually which is labor intensive and subject to potential human error. The automation of these functions will provide necessary capability that will enable DCAS Examinations to increase the number of exams given and substantially decrease the complete exam cycle time from offering to list creation as required by State mandate.
