This is a hands-on technical position. Responsibilities will include technical support of the departments Data Center. Must be proficient and experienced with third party vendors and assist in the coordination of preventative maintenance, disaster recovery exercises, on-call, and vacation scheduling. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Server configuration and administration and router and switch configuration, troubleshooting, moves/adds/changes, technical direction and capacity planning. Highly proficient in understanding server administration in an Active Directory and Microsoft Server 2003 Environment. Highly proficient in understanding routing concepts. Identify and track issues, risks, and action items. Resolve and/or assist in resolving issues. Review, prioritize, and research service requests.
