Job description: Role: Sr.Oracle DBA Location: South Brunswick,NJ Duration: 9 months Visa: Green Card and Citizens prefered (only local consultants-- F2F interview must) Required Skills: 10+ years years Oracle DBA experience in a medium to large database environment (Oracle 10g/11g) (must) 4+ years experience with Oracle on Linux, Solaris, and/or AIX (must) 4+ years experience with Oracle Dataguard (must) 4+ years experience with Oracle in a VCS cluster (must) 4+ years Oracle GRID Control usage and administration; must have installed GRID Control from scratch in a Maximum Availability Architecture. 2+ years expereince with SQL Server must Excellent troubleshooting skills in identifying and resolving production problems quickly in high availability environments Excellent communication skills as this person will be working with DBAs, Linux System Administrators, Network Engineers, and developers Experience in a tightly controlled change management environment Excellent communication skills must (atleast 9/10) Additional Skills: Microsoft SQL Server (2005 or higher)using replication, database mirroring, etc Oracle RAC on Linux for large internet facing web sites that use one or more of the following technologies: JBOSS, Apache, Tomcat, Websphere Oracle Streams experience ------ Your quick response will be highly appreciated.
