JOB TITLE : JBoss Administrator JOB LOCATION : Sacramento, CA DURATION : 6+ Months Contract POSITION DESCRIPTION: Qualifications: • Must have experienced with Jboss and TomCat • Minimum five years of UNIX administration/engineering experience, using Solaris and/or Linux (Redhat, SuSe). Good knowledge of UNIX system internals. • Experience in the financial industry or other mission-critical environment preferred. • Operational experience with Sun hardware and storage systems. • Must have volume management software experience (Veritas VxVM and VxFS, ODS) • Extensive knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP, RPC, NIS and NFS. • Sun Jumpstart with pre-script and post-script experience. • Web server (Apache), Samba, Mail and DNS. • Knowledge of SAN and NAS technologies. • FileNet, WebSphere, ColdFusion experience a plus • Netbackup and TSM experience a plus • Strong communication, documentation, teamwork, and relationship-building skills. • Flexible hours required. Maintenance and installation work usually performed outside of regular working hours. Must be willing to carry a pager 24 hours/day when on call.
