Job Title:    Process Engineer
Location:    Bloomfield, CT
Duration:    12 Months

Duties:
Develop and maintain complete and accurate understanding of how the
organization conducts its business. Perform detailed analysis which includes
defining: As is state and current problems requiring resolution Process
Target to be state; Institutionalization needs (policies, user education,
validation & verification, metrics)
Form Working Groups of subject matter experts in required process areas when
developing process improvement solutions, facilitate early identification
and resolution of issues Provide consulting services to stakeholders on
process enhancements – evolving information needs/requirements to documented
processes. Consult with working groups and end users on process requirements
and implementation considerations by reviewing existing work processes and
interfaces, touch-points to other processes with the objective of making
recommendations that improve operational performance Provide direction and
input in the analyses of user needs, document requirements, and bring
closure to issues Build products, processes and tools that that can enable
the organization to deploy high-impact business processes that are focused,
accountable and measurable Conduct appropriate validation or testing of
new/changed processes

Coaching - Ability to encourage, motivate and guide individuals and teams in

formal methodologies and disciplines for delivering new or enhanced
applications.
Process Flow Charting – Ability to document the schematic representation of
a process, showing the required steps and their sequence or dependencies
through the use of connecting arrows
Use Case Analysis, Definition and Development - Knowledge of and ability to
utilize use cases to analyze, define and document business requirements and
application scenarios.
Relationship Management - Ability to establish and build healthy working
relations and partnerships with clients, vendors and peers.
Decision Making and Critical Thinking - Knowledge of tools and techniques
for effective use of a broad range of factors, assumptions, frameworks and
perspectives when solving problems.
Conflict Management - Knowledge of tools and techniques for anticipating,
recognizing and effectively dealing with existing or potential conflicts at
the individual, group or situation level.
