I have the following immediate requirement:
Data Analyst
Location: Downey,CA
Duration: 12 months
Skills:
Experience in SAS, SQL, PL/SQL, Crystal, Business Object, and/or Clarity.
MVS/TSO, JCL. DB2, Oracle, Teradata, or relational databases experience.
Experience with the analytical manipulation and interpretation of large databases.
Advanced data analysis, validation, and processing skills.
Very strong analytic and critical thinking, writing, communication, and consulting skills.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills. And ability to work within a team.
Ability to express complex analytical and technical information to senior management or to audiences with clinical training.
Must be open to negotiating and compromising on ideas and work related issues. With reliance on others and ability to distribute dependencies along to others.
Must be self-starter and multitasking. Able to deal with multiple, concurrent projects with strict timelines. Not in a serial oriented process.
Healthcare experiences preferred. Familiarity with related applications, medical practices and terminology.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:
* Programming experience is required.
Bachelor degree (or higher) in Computer Science or related area.
Education or equivalent work experience in Economics, Finance, Health Care, Public Health, Statistics, Mathematics, or Research is a plus.
8+ years exp.
