Datastage Developer
Location: Tampa, FL
Est. Duration: 1 year
Rate: $40/hr all incl
Must have
Technical Leadership experience with DataStage 8.x and above
- Development experience
- Mentoring other team members and resolving design issues
- Resolving performance issues
- Ability to write/compose FTP scripts
- Ability to create and manipulate files
- Ability to call/execute DB2 procedures in scripts
- Ability to call/execute DataStage mappings within scripts
ETL Design experience
- Translating Functional Specifications (Requirements) into Technical Specifications
- Creating Source to Target (Technical Specifications) mappings
- Designing for reusable jobs
- Designing for performance
Environment
- Experience with AIX/Unix
- Experience with DB2 queries and scripts
Testing
- Experience with creating and executing Unit Test Plans
- Experience with creating and executing Integration Test Plans
Preferred
- Off shore experience
- Effort estimation and scheduling
- Status Reporting
