Position : C++ Developer Client Location: California Duration of the Project: 6month Pay Rate: 40hr Expected Start Date: ASAP * * ****Candidate Must Be Located In California**** * * *Summary:* My Client is looking for a Sr. C/C++ Developer who has done multiplatform development (Windows and *UNIX-Linux, Solaris,HP/UX*, etc) within a Client/Server Environment. *Description/Responsibilities: * * * - The responsibilities include design, development, troubleshooting and debugging various aspects of the CRM Product as well as the supporting software tools and systems. - Drive the development of a product/solution feature, including building prototypes per design specifications - Design, code and fix defects of complex, multi-tier distributed software solutions, including reviewing software requirements and identifying performance goals - Provides technical coordination and leadership to a team of developers; scopes development efforts, manages product delivery schedules, and plans implementation/rollout - Support cross-functional teams in customer specific implementations/escalations - Mentor/provide technical guidance to the development team - *Required Skills: * - Minimum 8-10 years of Software Design and Development experience - *Excellent server-side C/C++ programming skills(7+ years programming in C/C++)* ** - S/W product development experience using C or C++ on both Windows and UNIX(Linux) environments are a must - *Expert level knowledge & experience of UNIX(systems, UNIX commands, UNIX Make files and scripting skills. * - Knowledge of OO Programming (preferably with C++) and Design Patterns/methodology are required - *Multi-process/multi-threaded client-server applications is required* * * - Good Understanding of communications protocols (RPC, TCP/IP, UDP, serial links) is desirable - Experience in server-side technologies, database integration issues, System Level and Content Management Systems required - *Experience with applications using commercial RDBMS* (Oracle, MS SQL, DB2, and Sybase) databases in a highly transactional environment is required - Excellent written and oral communication *Additional Skills: * - CRM Product experience and Data Mining/data warehouse application experience is also highly desired.
