Position: Informatica Power Center Developer Location: Kansas City Start Date: Late February early March Duration: 4 Months Rate: Market About the Job The selected Informatica developer will work under the direction of a lead Informatica resource to redesign, document, develop, test, and release a set of interface programs using Informatica Power Center, Unix and Oracle. These interface programs transform/transfer data between various systems and a legal invoice billing/matter management system. Some interaction with client business team members will be necessary. The role will include: - Work closely with the lead programmer/analyst to assist with the daily maintenance and troubleshooting of the current interfaces - Develop test plans and coordinate test activities with upstream/downstream systems. - Assist with test activities performed by an internal quality assurance team. - Support the production release phase along with the initial post-production maintenance phase. Expected background 3-4 years Informatica (Power Center) development experience. Strong Unix scripting skills (i.e. file transfer, etc…) Strong RDBMS skills (Oracle preferred) Candidates must be able to communicate clearly and be proactive in decision making with minimal direction.
