*Performance engineer* *Boston** MA** :LOCALS ONLY* *38/hr* *Job Description* The primary responsibility of this position is to Stress Test Java EE based large-scale Web applications developed on WebSphere environment. The incumbent, as part of a small and specialized agile team will be required to take Java applications (sometimes partially build) developed by application development teams, make necessary modifications, and execute stress test on them. The testing approach involves designing test harnesses, establishing benchmark data, creating and executing test scripts. Some tools to be utilized are JMeter, Interscope, and Profiling tools such as JProbe and JProfiler to analyze performance down to the method and object level. Must be able to recommend coding practices to address performance issues. It may be necessary to modify existing Automated Testing Framework (a J2EE application) to allow the particular tests to be configured and run. *Requirements* 3-5 years experience with stress testing Java applications, including knowledge of standard performance metrics, including memory and CPU usage, throughput, thread pools, etc. 5-7 years experience coding in Java, including some experience with Struts2 and Spring Hands on experience working with Websphere, and IBM's RAD IDE Experience with tools such as JMeter, Interoscope, JProbe, JProfiler Working in a fast paced environment with a focus on result and reporting * PLEASE SEND ME THE RESUMES TO BELOW ID * *Best Regards* *Chris** Nihaki Systems,Inc.
