CCNA) · ROUTERS** · SWITCHES · FIREWALLS · CABLING KNOWLEDGE *Seeking mid-level network engineer for installs and maintenance of all network devices. Currently have about 650 different devices. May have some manual cabling work. ** *JOB DESCRIPTION* This position will provide daily operations support for all network-related activities within the Data Center and will coordinate moves/adds/changes to customer networks within the data center. This position will require strong network technical skills along with customer interaction to coordinate network operations activities. Key tasks for this position include: · Support Data Center network change control assignments and work within the network operations team along with other teams as appropriate to complete work tasks · Develop strong working relationships with all Data Center staff to ensure buy-in to meet critical and often urgent deadlines · Work with Account Managers to set appropriate and realistic timelines for network projects and work efforts · Continually help to refine processes to streamline work for both managed network customers and non-managed network customers · Support technical sales support efforts with new and existing customers relating to network architecture and design · Install and maintain network and SAN cabling. · Troubleshoot circuits with local-exchange and long distance carriers · Provide solid customer service skills · Support customer network design, testing, and installation activities · Support frame relay, private line, ATM and SHNS circuit technologies *Qualifications/Education Required:* · 3+ years of network design/implementation and network operations support or consulting experience with large corporate customers, specifically in a large enterprise environment · *Cisco certification of CCNA or higher is preferred* · Working knowledge of routers, firewalls, switches, and CSU network devices · Working knowledge of change control processes · *2+ years of Cisco network device configuration experience* · Solid oral and written communication skills, and demonstrated use of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio *PLEASE SEND ME THE RESUMES TO BELOW ID* *Best Regards* *Chris** Nihaki Systems,Inc.
