*1. Technical Analyst (JDE)*
Start Date: 02/15/09 End Date: 8/15/09
Location : Rahway, NJ
*Position Description*
*The incumbent will be responsible for the following:*
· Implementation of a software upgrade / migration from JDE One
World XE to JDE Enterprise One
· Development of all technical documentation in support of this
upgrade following the Merck systems life cycle (SLC). This includes Design
Specifications, Unit Test, Integration Test, etc.
· Execution of unit testing
· Interface with middleware team to analyze and troubleshoot issues.
· Communicating with project management to ensure that priorities
and functionality are met.
*Skill requirement*
· Prior Experience upgrading from JDE One World XE to JDE Enterprise
One
· Detailed understanding of all aspects of JDE One World XE and JDE
Enterprise One architecture and application code
· Application development within JDE One World XE and JDE Enterprise
One in order to implement custom modifications to meet Merck requirements
· Application development using Citrix Metaframe and Oracle as a
backend database to JDE One World XE and JDE Enterprise One
Analytical skills to review Merck requirements and determine
feasibility and practicality of these changes to the JDE On
World XE system and
JDE Enterprise One
· Technical writing skill sets for validated documentation
requirements
· Knowledge of Mercator mapping tool used for interfaces with
Honeywell POMS
· Regulatory requirements from a software development/Merck SLC
perspective
*2. Technical Analysts (two positions)*
Start Date: 02/16/09 (*approximate*) End Date: 8/1/09
Location : Rahway, NJ
*Required:
*
· Good Communications (written & verbal)
· 2-3 years Functional/Technical Design
· Experience in System Life Cycle development
*Desired**:** *
· Iterative Design experience
· CMMI
· Development experience
*Notes:* There are several applications they will be learning and working
with. Some are Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) products. So the
requirement doesn't mention a particular technology requirement like Java or
.NET for this position
