Strong Scripting experience (Wscript, WMI, VBS, shell script etc.) Strong experience in automating the upgrades of desktop software, patching and remote installations Minimum Requirements • Positive, can-and-will-do, team player attitude. • Positive appearance and charismatic demeanor conducive to presenting information to customers in a face-to-face encounters • Ability to clearly relay technical knowledge to both technical and non-technical people, written and verbally. • Resourceful and self-sufficient • Project management experience, particularly in the area of application implementation • Ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks. • Good written and verbal communication skills • Must be able to review, critique and improve documentation written by others describing installation and operating procedures. Other Requirements • Ability to stay on top of complicated issues and provide up to date reports to management • Must be able to assist, prepare and present technical briefing and technical specification documents. • Solid understanding of Windows server operating systems • Experience working with a helpdesk system • Exchange 2003/2007 experience – administration, backups, and offline defrags, etc. • Experience with installation and administration of Windows 2000, 2003, and 2008 • AD experience - knowledge of FSMO roles, group policy, DNS, replication • Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity issues (TCP/IP) • Experience with working in a multi-network/VLAN environment • Experience with WSUS (Windows Server Update Services) • Experience with VMware ESX, Virtual Center • Knowledge of Dell server/desktop hardware • Experience with desktop imaging (Ghost, Microsoft RIS) • Experience with Symantec Netbackup or Backup Exec • PC troubleshooting skills • Application installation and administration • Printer installation, maintenance and troubleshooting - Experience with Whatsup Professional monitoring product (SNMP traps) - Knowledge of windows security hardening - Some Cisco switch/router experience - Some Linux/UNIX experience - AD Migrations - Previous experience managing a windows team Education: Bachelors * * Thanks & Regards, Sandy Sr Technical Recruiter Global Computer Products Inc.
